RPF / redplasticfactory.co.uk is a small indie company.
Mixing 'do-it-yourself' (DIY) punk ethics with super-sharp contemporary design, RPF / redplasticfactory.co.uk aims to strike a balance between a high-quality finish and the handmade personal touch. Every piece is lovingly hand-assembled and is available to purchase directly from the in-house design studio via our online jewellery shop.
This season, RPF / redplasticfactory.co.uk offers you a playful, kitsch and quirky range of eye-popping colourful acrylic necklaces inspired by the 50's pop art movement, modern and retro subcultures, graphic pictograms, and tounge-in-cheek 80's bling!
Gift giving? RPF jewellery makes an ideal gift for a loved one. Each and every piece is carefully gift-wrapped, free-of-charge.

The jewellery charms are made using 3mm thick cast acrylic sheets. Acrylic is also commonly known by brand names 'Lucite' or 'Perspex'.
Acrylic is the hardest and most scratch resistant of all the plastics, it is easily drilled, cut and machined. These properties make acrylic a choice plastic to use in jewellery design.
Acrylic is strong but it can also be a little flexible too - please note that some of the jewellery pieces have fairly thin and delicate cuts, these particular pieces should always be worn and handled with care.
Plating is a method of depositing a thin layer of gold or silver onto the surface of another metal. Jewellery typically uses plating to give a silver or gold finish. As with all costume metals, care should be taken with parts exposed to high humidity environments.
